Oh, yes. The Mosel. We headed off in our bus to Bernkastel-Kues. We spent some time there meandering..

We climbed back into the bus and headed down the river, with a quick little stop in Zell (just enough time to get a picture of the “Black Cat”).

We stopped in the quaint town of Beilstein to eat. Several of us had lunch at a cute little restaurant that had a terrace overlooking the river.

We continued on to Cochem. Most of the group headed up to the castle and took a tour of it.

 At around 5:30 p.m. we got back on the bus to head back to Enkirch. We had a wine-probe at Immich-Anker. They explained quite a lot about the process of making wine, and then we got to taste the goods. Hmmm, good
