We started out with a late, but “extended” breakfast. Maria Oddi, who used to work at the NCO-Club, made bacon, eggs and potatos in a very large skillet for us.

At 11 a.m. we walked over to the former High School. We were greeted by the police officer in charge of doing their public relations. He led us into the “new” library to start his tour. WELLLL, somehow, we took over.
It just so happened that Bernie’s former domain was on the other side. I think that is about the time the gentleman gave up the “official tour”. He did mention to me that he did have a video tape about half an hour
in length, showing what the Police Academy is about, but he figured, somehow, we probably weren’t that interested in it...
We then went up to the 3rd floor of the “old” part. Basically we were just told to say what door we wanted unlocked to able go inside. It was sooo much fun remembering what class, what teacher, what year we were in
the different classrooms. We went all over the school. We ended up having to rush towards the end (after all, we only had 1 1/2 hours...). The mural in the Senior Hall is still there.

When we got back to “our” cafeteria, we enjoyed coffee and cake.
We had invited the former bus drivers and the cleaning ladies. There were several there. It was like a little reunion within a reunion for them, because several of them hadn’t seen each other for quite a while.
Amber Morphis Pietras and her son came up from Bonn, too.
