I had actually planned a “Volksmarch” today, but it turned out that almost no one wanted to hike, soooo basically everyone went off in their own direction. The Lettes flew off to Pisa. Udo, Lori and I went to Luxembourg and Trier. The Craigs and my parents ate lunch at the tower next to the roman road we were going to hike along, and then headed off to Bacharach.

In the evening we had a barbeque at the “NCO-Club” (former O’Club, way back “NCO-Club...)

Dr. Raul Butland (‘78) joined us there, too.

It was their BINGO evening, so of course we participated... None of us actually won the bottle of bubbly, but that didn’t stop a couple of our group actually GETTING some... (It is always nice to meet new friends...)
